freedom isnt free

tomorrow is one of the most important days for me, not because servers will be down on WoW and i will have to NOT play, but because i finally have the honor to Vote. you always hear about people being unhappy with the way our country or province is being run and then i ask myself did they even vote to complain? most of the time it is no , and if yes the person they voted for didn't win. Well this year i get to vote and my vote will count because with the STV system even if my candidate does not win my vote would have mattered and a candidate under the same party will represent my vote although not necessarily in my circumscription . Now there isn't a reason NOT to vote. if you don't vote you disrespect what so many Canadians had fought to win: Democracy. but not the democracy the Americans have , No this is true democracy we are a nation built on peace and patience to me NOT voting is saying YES to fascism to slavery and a Dictatorship .Don't get me wrong I'm not telling you to vote green, liberal,ndp,Conservative or even le Parti Rhino . vote because you can ,vote because you should ,vote because it is an honor in which that people have died to give us. freedom isn't free, freedom and democracy together are the most expensive thing known to man, because it has cost us the lives of countless innocent to posses.
